Return Policy
At The Handmade™, we are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with our handcrafted jewellery. If, for any reason, you are not entirely pleased with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return process.
Eligibility for Returns:
Standard Items: You may return standard, non-personalized items within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Items must be in their original, unused condition and packaging.
Personalized and Custom Items: Due to the bespoke nature of personalized, engraved, or custom-made pieces, returns are only accepted if the item is defective or damaged upon arrival.
Return Process:
Initiate Return: Contact our customer service team at support@thehandmade.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order to inform us of your intent to return.
Prepare Your Package: Ensure the item is securely packaged in its original packaging to prevent damage during transit.
Shipping: We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method to return the item to us. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or we have made an error.
Inspection and Refund: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
Exchanges:
If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process above and place a new order for the desired item.
Faulty or Damaged Items:
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at support@thehandmade.co.uk with your order number and photographs of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, including covering any return shipping costs.
Non-Returnable Items:
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of earrings unless they are faulty.
